Abstract

This review examines Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation as a work that goes beyond a technology-centered perspective to interpret productive transformation from a systemic standpoint. The book's main contribution lies in its understanding of digitalization as a process of developing organizational capabilities, learning, innovation, and institutional coordination, rather than merely a process of technological adoption. The review also highlights the book's interdisciplinary approach, its attention to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and its contribution to the debate on the challenges of structural change in Latin America.
