Submission Guidelines Awarded

Paper - Industrial Engineering Congress (COINI)

This section allows for the publication of works that have received mentions or awards in editions of the Industrial Engineering Congress - COINI. Authors can decide whether to submit the original version of the article or an expanded version. In the first case, AACINI - International Journal of Industrial Engineering will accept the peer review conducted by the event (which follows the same confidentiality and validation standards) and subject the article to the regular editorial process. In the case of expanded versions, the work will undergo a new peer review before the editorial process. Adjust the submission to the COINI Paper Template (Download).

Paper

The works will be presented in digital format and may include color graphics or figures.

The works will be preceded by an abstract of no more than 300 words. Following that, the keywords (up to five) should be provided. On the next page, a two-column layout should present the abstract in English and Portuguese.

The body of the article should be written according to the Paper Template (Download).

Although different sections may be considered based on the content and theme of the works, a classical structure is recommended in general. This includes an introduction with background and objectives, an analytical and/or experimental section describing procedures, equipment, and methods, a section presenting and discussing results, a part summarizing the main conclusions, and a final section for bibliographic references. In-text references should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) format, including author(s) last name, publication year, and page number. The bibliography should be placed at the end of the article, alphabetically ordered, following the APA format.

All pages should be in portrait orientation. Do not use footnotes, comments, or revision marks. Additionally, appendices can be included (maximum 4 pages).

For more details about section and subsection format, equations and formulas, graphs and tables, and citation and reference format, you can download the Template (registered users only).

Reviews

A review should not be shorter than 2 pages or exceed 5 pages, following the specifications proposed for articles.
